Bed is the one place where laziness is rewarded.

Lying in bed would be an altogether perfect and supreme experience if only one had a coloured pencil long enough to draw on the ceiling.
G. K. Chesterton

As close to a mountain as I plan to climb this weekend...
Might tape a coloured pencil to a stick, might not, but either way I'm looking forward to hiding out from the bitter cold that's forecast and enjoying a lot of delicious laziness.
Happy Friday lovely ones!

Your quilt is super-delicious, and the pencil-on-a-stick idea is a fine one! Enjoy a restful weekend.
(P.S. My word veri is 'bookin'... I guess you'll be getting some books in too :)
I just had to read those quotes to Mike, he appreciates them.
No wonder you are looking forward to a weekend snuggled up. That bed looks delicious, inviting, very cosy and snuggly. Enjoy your weekend.
Aww, how unfair to remind me of my comfy bed when I'm already out of the office.
But I LOVE the colored pencil idea.
Exquisite weekend plans. Enjoy.
Wonderful quilt! And I love the G.K. Chesterson quote. But I'm thinking you need a whole box of colored markers to attach to your ceiling sketching stick. Just don't let the overhead artwork become a cause of frustration and defeat the whole extreme experience of down time.
Have a good one!
a bed celebration is just what is needed!
Hmmm ...I might just crawl back under the covers myself. Cold weather predicted here too.
i go for a lazy week-end too ... i have even spent today home in my pyjamas ! enjoy the rest of this mellow sunday :)
Wished I had your blanket with me last weekend (gosh it was cold in the outback).
Hope you recover well of all the layziness this weekend.
Happy next week.
Hugs Dagmar
I'm a bit late on this one. I hope it was a rest-filled weekend.
that quilt is fantastic. LOVE IT!!! hope you enjoyed your cozy bed!!
What a lovely pillow! And love the thought of drawing on the ceiling... we plastered glow-in-the dark stars on my son's ceiling and I've always secretly wished I had some too.
The view from my pillow right now is of a vaporizer, scattered tissues, hot water bottle... ugh
A beautiful view!
