Could be anywhere, right?
Oh yes, glamorous and exciting times.
I usually try to get out on the town a bit when I travel for work, even if it's just for a wander around the neighbourhood I'm staying in, which this time was Bloomsbury, one of my favourite areas in central London. Unfortunately the schedule this week did not allow even that small pleasure.
But, on the upside, despite being a partial building site in sections, the hotel was very comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful so, if I had to be locked within four walls, they were not the worst four walls to be locked in. And, although the food was mostly fast and eaten on the run, it was fresh and yummy. And yes, it was quite hard work, but the group were lovely, enthusiastic people, keen to learn and practice the craft of designing, developing and delivering great, engaging learning workshops, which was very gratifying.
So all in all, not a bad few days. Glad to be home though. Nothing beats sleeping in my own bed.

I have travel envy Ms. Kendalee! Not job/work envy- just the fun bits! We had sunshine today! WOW!
Hee Hee - the irony of it all! Though, I have to say... you made beige look pretty darn good (unless I actually look really closely at the writing and the numbers.
Very gray and business-like photos. I'm glad your inside time was rewarding even if you had to miss out on the vibrance of London. Workshops can be a real lift to a new level of production, especially when the people you work with are friendly and helpful.
Own bed is best. Shame you didn't get to see more of your surroundings though.
It sounds ok-at least the hotel was good. Did you visit anywhere? Hope you got a little time to do something!
there is something quite satisfying about rocking a conference/training though, no?
oh London, i dream about London !! and i dream about english countryside too ... I have even been thinking about moving to Lille which would still be in France and only 1H30 from London ... but will I ever dare to do that ? I really like how you managed to keep the same tones on all your photos, brilliant :) bon week-end ...
