I always get excited when I see snow photos. I know the reality must sometimes be miserable when it is so cold, but oh, it does look so lovely ... And the wellies add a very chic touch!
As much as I'm complaining about the cold I enjoy very, very much winter and accompanying photos around the world. Your photos are glorious and I, too, adore the wellies!
All very, very fine photos. Snow makes everything so soft and bright. The arching bridge and the mossy trunk are not things seen around here. Our snow is deeper and the temps are arctic. But if I had boots like that I would wear them instead of more practical warm clumpy ones.
You really must eat more toast...with gobs of honey, insulation you understand...massive quantities of tea is also helpful, in fact that is all you can do when it is so very cold. The city is beautiful but I really feel sorry for the ducks. I have been buying loads of seed and nuts at the feed store for the squirrels and birds- corn for the ducks...Everyone else seems to be in hibernation.I could be in hibernation instead of simply paralized from dysfunction- hard to tell.It has warmed up here- actually had warm sun yesterday for about 20 minutes! Your photos are beautiful, glad to see happy boots!! xxxooo
I love the ducks! And your wellies. I have worn my walking boots all week which have very sensible grips. I love this weather! Hope you are keeping warm too.
those are the COOLEST BOOTS EVER! i wish the US would adopt the word wellies because we don't have an alternative word for them - just "rain boots" or "snow boots".
oh my..yes this is snow !! and it's so beautiful !! here it started to snow last night but i wish we had real snow like in your corner of the world... Keep warm and cozy I wish you a wonderful 2010, dear Kendalee. May this new year bring you lots of joy, love and harmony !! A big hug to you Lala
The main things which seem to me important on their own account, and not merely as means to other things, are knowledge, art, instinctive happiness, and relations of friendship or affection.
Bertrand Russell
The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware, joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware.

Great photos - I love snow on the branches of trees. Enjoy the beauty before it becomes muddy and slushy.
