the very first photo represents my own heart's yearning at present. i feel very overwhelmed due to a very heavy workload and running away sometimes feels like the only option and then i realise that my yearning for the satisfaction that follows a job completed, far outweighs the urge to run.
may your yearning be filled, if not now, when the time is ripe and perfect.
I agree with Lisa - you are so the Mosaics Master! I sometimes yearn for romance as well. I have just finished watching (after having seen Cranford! xxx) North and South - oh, I found that last scene so beautifully romantic! But I digress. The picture in the mosaic that resonated with me most, is the bottom left hand one with the balloon and the grey windy landscape. It touches something in me, it is somehow beautiful yet a little sad ...
The main things which seem to me important on their own account, and not merely as means to other things, are knowledge, art, instinctive happiness, and relations of friendship or affection.
Bertrand Russell
The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware, joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware.
