Long before I was inspired and encouraged by a special friend to start blogging myself, I was a reader of blogs. And I was overwhelmed by the talent and creativity that is out there and how generously people share of themselves and the beauty of their worlds. I also loved the sense of community that is evident.
I now count myself privileged to be one of this virtual community but otherwise, not much has changed. I still love to spend time browsing and reading and being awed and inspired by people in the blogosphere.
And this New Year I have loved seeing people's 2009 start to unfold, with posts of celebration, intention or resolution...
These particularly delight me:
- Anairam's starlit list of art, dance and travel plans
- Lisa's exuberant, colourful and sparkling moments
- Rachel's quiet thoughts
- Mary-Laure's champagne and roses and the adorable oracle, Benjy, who answers cosmic questions
- ELK's wonderfully simple but compelling approach
- Sebrina's commitment to capturing her mornings
- and Mila's exquisite, luminous visual wishlist, accompanied by a great soundtrack

It is amazing is it not. Strangers writing and inspiring all across the globe connected by the internet. I always enjoy reading your blog because unlike a lot of blogs, yours actually make me think. I read your integrity post and I especially love the last quote. It is all so true.
