Thank you so much to all those who shared their amazing lists for the sensory give-away. I SO enjoyed reading them and learning a bit more about each of you, and my only regret is that I can't make up lovely parcels for everyone - what fun that would be! But never fear, there'll be other give-aways...
I have made a little consolation prize for everyone (clue above) but I'll get back to those in a bit.
First let's find out who the winner is, shall we?
So here it is... the draw...
I was going to write all the names out beautifully and pull one from a hat in creative low-tech styley. But then I remembered that although I do have a hat, I can't write beautifully, so instead I assigned a number to each name (in the order the lists were submitted) and used a random number generator to pick one...

And the winning number is...
Here are your random numbers:
3
Timestamp: 2008-11-23 17:42:21 UTC
- Karen of Faded Willow
- Curious Girl (Lisa)
- fra(a)iing's Anairam
- Heather of Paper Follies
- Munted Kowhai
- Kerstin Martin
- All I ever Wanted's, Linda Sue
I'm so excited and can't WAIT to start putting a parcel together based on your lovely list:

- Fave 3 colours - Black, Red, Sandy white
- Sight- a starry sky, a rose, the sea
- Sound- a stormy sea at night, a sad tango song, ice cream cart bell
- Smell- freshly brewed coffee, jasmine, certain new books
- Taste- Dark Lindt chocolate, freshly brewed coffee (again!), chocolate cupcakes
- Touch- bubbles of champagne on my tongue, my dear Le'Usband's neck, hot dry sand on a beach
Not sure how I'm going to interpret some of those but it's going to be such fun to try! Please email me at (kendalee dot paintedlady @ googlemail dot com) with your address. I aim to get the parcel out to you before Christmas and will let you know when it's on its way...
In the meantime, here's a little mosaic I made for you, based on your list and a few things I've gleaned about you from your always lovely comments and your deliciously inspiring blog...

9. Natural Spiral..., 10. I feel smarter already, I think, 11. Door with grapes - Bokaap, 12. Tango arisco en tinta roja
And so, while Anairam decides whether I've accurately captured her in the mosaic above, back to the consolation prizes...
I wanted to have a mosaic ready for whoever won, so there's one for each of those who entered - even Suzanne of Sakura Snow who sadly just missed the deadline so didn't want to go into the draw proper. And because I so enjoyed doing them, and I thought you might be interested in seeing your senses and favourites interpreted in this way, my plan is to post them along with your lists tomorrow...
Okay, I agree... definitely not as good as getting goodies in the mail but it seems such a shame to let those lovely lists just fade away. If you click on the mosaic composition at the top of this post, there's a little part of yours to be seen.
Do you recognise it?

This is so fun - I can't wait to see everyone's mosaics. And I'm so happy Anairam won!
WOOHOO! Anairam! Guess she will be getting...COFFEE?
I would love to know how you make mosaic photos. So cool and so effective, space saving!
Very good idea Ms. Kenda-lee. If I were more ambitious I might do a give away...but I am not.
Cheers!
Oh! Oh!! OH!!! Thank you! Thank you random number generator thingie!!! Thank you, sweet Kendalee!! Our Internet connection was off since early this morning, and when it came back on just now, what a lovely surprise I had! I just want to say that your mosaic captures my loves perfectly! (When I made a mosaic based on your post - long ago - of flickr responses to 9, of was it 12?, questions, it was full of red and black shades - just like this one!)
kendalee, you are just amazing!
Kendalee, will you show us the package after Anairam recieves it? I'm dying to know!!! I see my fave senses in the mosaic! Thank you! That's so awesome of you!!!
Stephanie- it has been fun! :)
Linda Sue - mmm... I think you could be right - coffee seems a sure thing! ;) Also, I happen to know that you did make someone feel like a WINNER recently and she feels like one everytime she sees or wears one of your beautiful felt flowers!!!! :)
Anairam - :D Glad you like the mosaic and am thrilled to be making up a special parcel to tickle your senses... It'll be in the post to you soon!
Lisa - You're lovely - thank you. This was so much fun!
Munted Kowhai - of course I will. I'll probably give you a sneak peek beforehand but not give too much away until Anairam receives it. I'm travelling for work this week and have already picked up two little things to put in the parcel - so much fun!
