- lists of 100 things
I think I'm going to do this regularly - it was fun. I didn't think too hard about it, just let the first 100 things that came up go on the list in the order they occurred to me. I found it easier to come up with 100 than I thought it might be - was just warming up by the time I hit 100 actually - although it took some restraint to stick to things not ideas or experiences... And I'm interested to see how they flowed out too - some obviously related but then some not. How did my mind go from feathers to seahorses, for example? Weird.
Anyway, this list of happy-making stuff is my last offering for Happy Week, although I'm looking forward to doing the give-away draw tomorrow. Still time to get your list in if you'd like to be included.
Thank you to Lisa for the idea of Happy Week (and whose blog always makes me happy with her beautiful images and thoughtful musings) and for all the lovely people who have shared their happiness too. It's been fun and has managed to make a week of continuing insomnia; cold, wet weather; horrible, relentless pressures at work; and unwelcome ghosts intruding, much happier! Happiness is largely about choosing that state, isn't it? A daily, moment-to-moment choice. I don't always manage to maintain it but it's even to be found in the trying...
I hope you're having a happy weekend!

you are an ambitious one, you are!
love the list. I love that we have so much in common and that the land of blog brings us together in a world where we probably would have never met.
xoxo.
Love your list. Tango- intriguing- the culture of tango, even more so...Your list was so much fun- lovely.
Have a great week end- Today is waterwold here and very dark- good day to felt.
cheers, my dearest!
Stay cosy!
A great list...i do love lists.
This is great! Love the photos, too! I may also give this a try, 100 sounds a lot but I suspect you are right that when you start it will flow ... I can already see things on your list, that I love, too, like Lebkuchen, canal locks and autumn leaves :)
What a great list! It makes me want to do one to - in my journal I think ... Hope you get to snooze well this weekend! xxx
Happy week... end Kendalee!
I love your photos of the hot air balloons. They're like childhood!
LOVE your list and oh my those hot air balloons!
lisa - me too! I guessed we'd share a lot of likes (and probably dislikes) when I first saw your blog banner and then that 'a natural history of the senses' is on your favourite books list. Isn't this technology a great connector? Love it!
Linda Sue - hope you weren't washed away! Felt like we might be at one point this weekend. Yes, Tango is a whole world unto itself. Some aspects I love, some I find VERY frustrating. But it's take the bad with the good, I guess. As with most things.
Alex - thanks! List-aholic me...
Kerstin - I know, 100 felt really daunting to begin with but it really wasn't so bad. I'd love to see your list! And like Lisa said, I love that we have stuff in common and met in the blosphere when we otherwise might not have... :)
Anairam - it was a fun exercise! Not a lot of sleep, but not a lot of activity this weekend either, so assuming I'm more rested?!?
Munted kowhai and Please sir - I agree! Balloons just lift the heart, don't they? And who can resist a little heart lift?! Not me. :)
Love the list... drool over the 'Pad thai'... I like mine with extra peanuts. I like elephants too! We should fly to Thailand!!!
Lovely new week to you dear. ;)
I love your list! Gorgeous photos!!!
