Happy Week - celebrations and carousels

It's become a bit of a tradition* at this time of year to go to the German Christmas market with whichever of my friends and family are in town, to eat and drink...


and ride the carousel...

This weekend, I'll be going with some friends for another sensory overload. It'll be good to relax, overindulge in food that's yummy - if not the healthiest, and let the children in us come out to play. I need that. And perhaps then, I'll get to sleep properly. That would be good. And a reason to be happy.

Today I'm celebrating because...  I am a winner! Honestly, how fabulous is that? In Happy Week, I won something lovely and that makes me very happy!

I have long admired the beautiful images taken by Kerstin of gipsy life and the way she lives her life with such gusto and integrity. Recently she moved to a new home, started a new blog, and opened an Etsy shop. And this month, she landed a new job...  It's all exciting change in her world and to celebrate, she offered a wonderful giveaway - one of her exquisite pictures. And I WON! I am so excited... Thank you lovely Kirsten!

And speaking of giveaways, I am so enjoying reading all your sensational lists - thank you!  And there's still time to get your list in if you fancy it and haven't yet.
