Gorgeous roses in autumn colours. A "just because" surprise I came home to after a few days away for work. Enjoyed them this morning while sipping my first cup of tea and listening to a little Missy Higgins... something light to start the day with. I love how she sings in her own accent.
This bracelet was made by a friend 'specially for me with vintage 1950's buttons. I love it!
Little things like this help me face the grey...

I agree entirely anairam - "just because" flowers are the BEST... And I love surprises like this! I arrived home tired and quite grumpy but couldn't help feeling happier when I saw these. Very thoughtful.
karina - someone lovely and beloved said to me years ago "it's usually brief moments and little things that enrich a life. Look for them daily...". I think it's so true. It's important to remember and savour these, isn't it? And I think many people who blog are seeking to honour this in their own way.
