When the big picture seems a little daunting and I'm feeling overwhelmed, I find it helps to zoom in and savour the moment, the details, for a while. And it's all the better if they're served with a splash of sunshine.
I have you to thank, my dear, for helping me to zoom in on tiny details. Amazing how habits from behind a lens infiltrate so many other aspects of life!
The main things which seem to me important on their own account, and not merely as means to other things, are knowledge, art, instinctive happiness, and relations of friendship or affection.
Bertrand Russell
The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware, joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware.

Oh, I love these pictures. I think the last one is my favorite though.
I agree! I love the greens and greys running through your collection of details Kenda.
You are right and your pictures capture the beauty!
Wonderful, love the palette too, I've been making hot orange bubbles for two days and I feel nicely refreshed now - thanks, Kenda!

You take such beautiful photos. I'm often soothed by focusing on the small details of nature.
the beauty of nature always makes me feel grounded when other things send me a little off center.
What a great reminder ... and a great set of photos! Thanks for sharing.
Wise words of wisdom (because some words of wisdom don't always seem so wise to me!) And beautiful photos - as always.
