Sundowners

We are staunch and true and in rather a champagne mood.
Franz Marc
(1880-1916)

Get up and dance, get up and smile, get up and drink to the days that are gone in the shortest while.
Simon Fowler
(1965)

It was one of those evenings, the celebration of a 30th Birthday, where at times I felt alone in the crowd. I enjoyed it nevertheless: the company of good friends, a view of an iconic building in the late afternoon sunlight, bubbles in a glass, an excuse to wear pretty shoes and to dance...

Love your shoes! I like the first picture with all the little flashes of pink in the dresses.

I have felt alone in the crowd many times. In fact, that's how I usually feel when I'm the photographer. And I usually like it!

You captured some great images. AND I LOVE the shoes!!!!

Sunshine to you today!!

Cheers! Love your shoes and the summery-ness of what everyone is wearing - must have been a warm day.

A fine way to spend time. With friends even if you're not always in the middle of the swirl. Bright colors, bubbles and sunshine. Thanks for sneaking some photos to share with us.

Bubbles in a glass always make me happy. Actually, any bubbles - bubble bath and the bubbles that you blow too. It is an interesting thought - why bubbles are such happy things ...

Hi Kenda, I'm gladd to read you can have happy moments and feel lost in the crowd at the same time... okay this sounded strange. Yet I know what you mean and I'm happy to hear your doing a little better after your big loss.
Sending hugs from my neck of the woods.

ps adore the shoes. Ughhhh. just wonderful.
