~ blue sky. And are those the beginnings of leaf shoots I see? I thought I might be imagining that Spring is late arriving and whinging unjustifiably about eternal Winters but last year at this time, this tree looked like this. Magnificent. I feel vindicated. And glad to see she's about to do her beautiful thing. At last.
~ short working weeks. The shorter the better.
~ pizza. Proper Italian pizza. The Italians have given the world many, many wonderful things but if all they'd contributed was pizza I still think we should be thanking them. Shared with friends and a lovely bottle of red, it becomes a feast.
~ packing. Okay, not everyone's idea of lovely and on another day, probably not mine. I'm actually really looking forward to it this weekend though. Weird, I know. But it's spring cleaning and decluttering and an opportunity to savour the things I love and want to keep all in one. Only two weeks to go now 'til the move.
~ colour palette generator. I've been playing with inspiration mosaics for my new decor and then thought, I wonder how this would translate in that palette generator thingy? Oh dear. I am addicted. So far my palettes of choice for the apartment include delicious colours like wasabi, treehouse, cashmere, viking, peacock, toast, turtle, spice and claret. I think that generator knows more about me than it should!
What's on your lovely list this week? Whatever it is, I wish you a very, very lovely Friday!

That is an amazing difference in the tree! On my lovely list would be flowers in the garden-the first tulip opened today, Cassie on the newly got out of the shed cat climbing frame, seeing a little urban river sparkling in the sun this morning and visiting the Turkish supermarket in Lewisham to buy delicious treats such as fresh poppy seed bread, soft cheese and dried fis in a little wooden box. Oh I have got quite carried away!
Enjoy your packing!

Not a great deal of lovely this week (heavy sigh)...but, I shall be sugaring violets this weekend, I think that shall be lovely!
So glad you have the beginnings of green leaves. We are seeing something like that here. Don't look at any blogs from places like Washington D.C. where they are overflowing with cherry blossoms. It will only cause depression and blossom envy. Fun, fun choosing colors for your new digs! Have a good one.
What an amazing difference in the tree!!!
My lovely list this week....the only thing I can think of is getting closer to being caught up with my studies. That, and the tulips & daffs are finally starting to peep out of the ground.
how very lacy and encouraging your list and image are here...i also enjoyed reading the post about SArah and you meeting...have a wonder filled weekend!
Lovely list indeed, Kenda! Mmm, lovely are my daffodils, the robins busy building nests, the fields of tulips I visited yesterday, my brother's upcoming visit and friends like you! xo – g
Wasabe, peacock, spice, claret - gorgeous!!
Looks like we have swapped weather. Last year our blossoms were 2 weeks late and this year we are 2 weeks early. In fact the lilacs are blooming already! Which means they will probably be gone by May Day (my normal bouquet standard) What will I leave on my neighbor's front steps?
I am really interesting in the color palette generator!! I am sooo going to check that out! Thanks for sharing!!

Good luck with the move. I actually quite like packing or reorganising cupboards. Have always maintained that it has great scope for being used as a tool in psychological counselling. No-one wants to believe me though ...
What a very lovely list! I do think I'm going to check out the color palette generator...it sounds too fun to not. Let's see for my lovely list...
*Spring and the warmth it brings
*My son talking more and more (he has a delay in speech)
*I had my first sale in my newly opened etsy shop
*We went swimming with the kids yesterday and had a fun time
*Chocolate covered strawberries...yum!
packing for a new place is always a super thing! the actual work isn't always much fun, but it means freshness and a new phase of life and it's so invigorating!
