Amazing how even a few hours of sunny skies can make the earth (and me) feel more colourful and cheerful.
This week I'm going to London for a couple of days and then I'm heading south as far as I can go (without a passport) in pursuit of a little more of it. At the moment, all I know is that it'll be on the Devon coast somewhere and that I'm going to pack my camera, some paints and my walking shoes. I'm looking forward to breathing in some sea air and I'm hopeful the sunshine will come out to play...
What are you looking forward to this week? Whatever you're up to today, I hope you have a good one!

stunning! enjoy your beautiful journey!
Last week never really got going for me and so I am looking forward to having a productive week.
PS It was so thoughtful of you to send a thank you card for the prize you won on my blog, so glad you like your earrings.
PPS Have a great trip, Kenda!
Ohh how I would love to come along to Devon I only know it from the tv but it sure looks devine.
Have a great trip. And this gorgeous picture makes me long to lay amongst the super flowers.

Have a great time Kenda, hope the sun shines for you all the time. As for me, I fly over to the UK tomorrow, So I'm looking forward to seeing friends and family again.
your colors make me giddy ...great spot on the earth right there...be well!
Such a beautiful photo - I love the long, dark shadow cast by the tree just as much as the bright 'fairy circles' of crocus blooms...
And I'm thrilled to read you'll be embarking on a passport-free adventure. Have fun, and happy painting in the Devon sunshine :)
The mass of flowers is so refreshing and cheering. Hope that passport problem works out soon. I have a nursery rhyme book that says, "Ah, lovely Devon...where it rains eight days out of seven." Hope that is not the case for you. Soak up some sun for me. It is snowing here. >:P
Great photo, love the colors....enjoy your time away, it sound lovely and like so much fun. I am looking forward to catching up this week, and for the sun to come back my way as well!
A carpet of crocus -- how divine! Have fun on your trek and I'll wish you sunshine.
I'm looking forward to snuggling into bed early, listening to the rain and reading. Autumn has just begun and I'm feling the primal urge to begin hibernation. Can't wait to see how Devon looks. Have fun.
excited about your travels Kenda! It is kind of rainy here today, but this past weekend we enjoyed lots of sun and fresh air.
What a gorgeous image...I love the pops of purple and white! I'm a little jealous that you are going on a trip but, I'm excited for you. I always look forward to the weekend because I don't "have" to wake up and get the kids ready for school. I don't really ever get to sleep in...my son wakes up around 6am every morning regardless. :)
You know...I have it on good authority that "Control is an illusion, and life is the ability to deal with Plan B"...no better Plan B than seeking out some sun (makes a pretty darned good Plan A and C as well!).
Yes-sunshine! Hope it stays out for you wherever you are!
Hope you have a fantastic time and find some sunshine xx
wishing for wonderful photos from a wonderful trip.
Have a great time !
Oh, Kenda, what a gorgeous image. It just shouts "spring"! Lucky you to be going to London and then Devon. Two of my favorite places in the world. Well, I do love Cornwall a bit more than Devon, but both are magical. I can't wait to see what images you bring back. Thank you for your lovely comments – fresh linens in the sunshine in your grandmother's home is such a sweet memory. Enjoy your week to the fullest! xo – g ♥
absolutely glorious!
Enjoy this wonderful season* & hope the passport problem is resolved!
hugs
Wow! How beautiful are those crocuses (croci???!!) - don't think I've ever had to write that word so don't know how to spell it! Anyway, have a great break, hope you find some sunshine. Looking forward to seeing your pictures/paintings.
Kristin :)
That is exactly what I would like to be doing this week. A little dose of London and then some quiet time on the Devon coast. My mom's grandparents came from Devon so I would love to explore. Have a wonderful time Kenda.
Have a beautiful trip. I'm wishing lots of sun for you.

What lovely Spring Pics! Hope the sun made an appearance. It really is so comforting to see and feel again after it has been hidden!
With temps of 32 and 33 deg C forecast here for the next few days, I am hoping the sun will duck behind some clouds and bring some relief!
