Is there anything more delicious...

...than snuggling into fresh linen, in your own bed?

Sleep that knits up the ravelled sleave of care
The death of each day's life, sore labour's bath
Balm of hurt minds, great nature's second course,
Chief nourisher in life's feast.
William Shakespeare
(1564-1616)

O bed! O bed! Delicious bed!
That heaven upon earth to the weary head.
Thomas Hood
(1799-1845)

I shall need to sleep three weeks on end to get rested from the rest I've had.
Thomas Mann
(1875-1955)

After a few nights away, staying in perfectly comfortable but soulless hotel rooms, I always relish coming home to my own space and my own bed. And I hope for sleep. Or a least rest.

I don't have three weeks but I have a good feeling about achieving it tonight...

I was just thinking that yesterday as everything had been laundered. There is nothing like that feeling of snuggling into bed with fresh everything!

I agree with you. Your bed should be a haven of security and rest. Fresh friendly bedding is so nice. Best wishes for a good night

Oh Kendalee- i so agree- I am still on the fold out with the dog- what is it now - seven weeks? I am not getting good sleep- I am rattled- I can relate to your love of your own cosy bed with clean sheets and cushions- yes, delish!

nothing like your own bed... hotel rooms, however luxurious they may be ... are nowhere near as comforting.
