Ah, Hope! what would life be, stripped of thy encouraging smiles, that teach us to look behind the dark clouds of today,
for the golden beams that are to gild the morrow.

I've been invited to interview. On Monday. I'm very excited, and very, very nervous.
It's surely not good to want something so much, but also not good not to want it enough. Balancing hope and enthusiasm with the odds-on reality has never come naturally to me - I'm a dreamer, a wisher, a hoper, a potentialist... I practice 'que sera, sera' but it doesn't always happen easily. Like Emily Dickinson, I tend to 'dwell in possibility'.
I look to the light. I am designed to seek it out in others, to reflect it and stoke it so that they can glow even brighter. I do this well. But in this situation, I need to be the light.
Competency and psychometric tests completed, now there's a presentation and a panel interview to get through. Busy weekend of preparation ahead.
One step at a time, Kendalee. Just take one step at a time...
Remember to breathe. To shine.
But to carry a torch, just in case.
Have a very lovely Friday!

Best of luck with the interview, hope it goes well which I'm sure it will. A busy weekend ahead of you, just remember to take some time out for yourself.
There's no doubt that you will shine, just remember to breathe!
"I look to the light. I am designed to seek it out in others and to reflect it and stoke it so that they can glow even brighter. I do this well." That you do...you are one of those lovely souls that feel like an old and dear friend, even from afar. You don't need a torch, your light shines beautifully, and it will radiate magnificently in the interview! Good luck!
Good luck Kenda!! Something tells me you are excellent at interviews. I think you will do great!
All the best for the interview... I applaud you for having taken the step of applying for another job. Its not easy, given that you enjoy what you do and the organisation you work for. I'll be thinking of you and sending you good vibes.
Yes, best wishes and good luck. Your post expresses so well what we feel when on the brink of an advenure.
I will be burning a candle and making hard core wish tracks to your interview- you will be fine I am sure but a few wishes can never hurt and a flame is always nice...if they turn you down then we know that they are idiots and you would not want to get involved anyway...
Cheers! Don't forget to get fresh batteries for the torch!
LOVE
I'm sending loads of fabulous thoughts and vibes your way. Vasbyt, my dear Kenda!
hooray! you'll wow 'em, no doubt. I'll be thinking great thoughts for you.
xo.
We, out here in "Blogland", are all going to be "there" with you. Attempting to reflect and stoke YOUR light. You shine so brightly without our help; YOU ARE A STAR! I hope they are not blinded.
Take time to "breathe" this weekend.
Balance!....relax.....step forward to the next stepping stone with confidence.
As Always xxoo
Oh Kendalee, you are so good with letting us know where to go, what to do. And also you 'know' it for YOU. So keep that torch light up brightly. And keep on dreaming also, you'll get there were you're needed most. Best of luck my friend. Hugs Dagmar
Oh, congratulations and good luck... with your weekend prep and on Monday. I know you'll shine!
P.S. Gorgeous photo!
Ooh how exciting! Well done you! Lots of luck-I will be thinking of you!
Oh-and I agree with in another lifetime's comment too-I can just imagine you at an interview, you will be great!
Good luck with the interview; I like the way you think. Thanks for the great poem. It's the second time it comes across my way in blogland. Love it!
Oh, good luck with it all!! You do shine and I'm sure they'll be able to see that. I love that you 'dwell in possibility'. You really do and it's carried you so far and it will continue to carry you. Your hope is infectious!
And speaking of what's possible I've started writing 'my book' and I've posted a little something on my blog. It can be so scary to start something new and it's been great to come over to your space and see you venture out...it's been inspiring.
Break a leg! Holding thumbs...
How very exciting, and a little nerve-wracking, I'm sure. You are so full of enthusiasm I have little doubt you will do very well. Breathe. Take it slowly. And enjoy the experience. Isn't that what life is? One experience after another. I'll be thinking about you:).
way to go kendalee! congratulations on what you've achieved already: you've realized you were ready to break free, worked up the courage to seek out the opportunity, inquired about the position and you've made it through the tests. it shows that you have the desire and the confidence to make this change. taking it one step at a time is a great approach. that way you can dwell in possibility AND do something about it at the same time.
Best of luck. Now be sure to wear your prettiest knickers, your brightest smile and believe in the air that surrounds you. You'll be great!!!
