Respite

The ache for home lives in all of us, the safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned.
Maya Angelou
(1928)

Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art...
It has no survival value; rather is one of those things that give value to survival.
C. S. Lewis
(1898-1963)

Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family. Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one.
Jane Howard
(1935-1996)

I'm so thankful for safe spaces and safe hands:

For homes from home both virtual and actual.
For fresh air and green space and big sky.
For friends right here and out there.
For warm hearts and kind words.
For those who reach out.
For those who ground.
For those who uplift.
For respite.
For family.
For love.

Thank you. It makes all the difference.

It must be so hard for you being far away from family but you do amazingly well considering. I hope this ache you are feeling subsides and ..... ok I'm going to say it .... its time you went home to the arms of your family even if its just for a week.....soon. Love and hugs to you, Kenda.

I came here from another blog which lead to another blog which eventually lead to you...
I've enjoyed your photography, the blurs and colours and shapes you've picked out. I enjoyed your umbrella photo's and quotes too.
