Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
Mark Twain
(1835-1910)
I dreamt of sails and wings, the ocean. Of a horizon and a heart (my heart) opening up, taking off and flying towards it. Of landing. Calm waters, a quiet beach. I started off feeling a little melancholy, soared up through hope and happiness, and ended peacefully, at rest. And then I woke up.
When I opened my eyes in the dark it felt like I had just taken a journey. The images, sensations and emotions were vivid and strong. I felt calm and grounded. And that stayed with me throughout the day.
I love it when that happens.
Thank you lovely Flickr peeps for helping me capture it. A perfect dream sequence.

Restless, I want to start a fire!
I hold you responsible, dear Kendalee...
It is lovely when dreams are so vivid in either imagery or the feeling they leave behind. You have made a beautiful mosaic in response. Thanks for starting my Monday with inspiration!
there must be something in the air...you've picked the most perfect collection of images to represent the feeling of sand and sea and salty air.
that last row is just perfect.
living in a place that is considered to be a holiday destination, makes these images so homely to me.
moving here as almost set my dreams at liberty to be part of everyday life.
thank you for capturing this in your words and images.
