...and very cold.
This is how it started - my walk to work and the view from my desk yesterday.

Worst snowfall here in 18 years, they say.
I say, how wonderful.
I've never seen the like.
Please may I leave the office so that I can go and play?

Neat!! i love snow :)
do you love it!! you wanted snow right?
wow... i am green with envy. It was 80 here today... yuk
beautiful...i am so missing snow...it feels like spring here *sigh* i want it to be winter, what fun is a hot, steaming mug of something yummy when its balmy enough for sunning in the yard!
It looks absolutely delightful! Make a snowman! (with a heart ...) Dress in a white coat and make like you are a polar bear and scare people. Laugh when they run away. Catch a snowflake on your tongue and eat a block of chocolate at the same time and imagine it is chocolate ice cream. Make a bit circle of footsteps in the snow. Skate on the icy pavement using your bread board. Mmmm, I can think of loads of playing - enjoy!!
bruceg - isn't it?! And there's more on the way...
Claire - I am enjoying it for both of us! Everyone around here sees it as a bother. I just think it's great!
Sebrina - I think snow makes cold worthwhile... Yaaaaaaaaay for snow!
Nadia - I love it SO much!! I wanted snow, and snow came... How lucky am I?
Harper - I love the warmth but if it has to be cold, at least there should be snow to make it pretty, right?
Heather - Hiya! I've missed you. Too right, tea and hot chocolate... both much yummier when it's cold and snowy :)
Anairam - what a delightful list of play ideas! I've done the chocolate one before - delish! It works well with peppermint too. I'm going to try some of these others out... I don't have a white coat but I could be a red panda that's wandered off course... :)
AMAZING!
Your trip to Sri Lanka is this Saturday! Painting 4 of your photos tomorrow!
Fifi
Hope you got to play.
Wasn't there snowfall like this about 3-4 years ago? I remember being on a plane trying to land at Heathrow and the pilot having to abort it (the wheels were already our, it was pretty freaky) because of a blizzard.
Apparently we had the worst snow since 95 here in the Northwest just before Christmas and like you I loved it. But I have to admit, I am ready for spring now!
Great photos!
