Presented with a new, untrodden path, I'll dance...

I've never walked this way before

I want to be less scared and more excited

I want to be less sad and more delighted

I want to not just tiptoe

I want to skip and dance

After all,

Not everyone

Gets a second chance

(Fear not, I don't want to be a poet. It just came out like that.)

Have enjoyed catching up with your post's.
Sorry that it hasn't all been so easy for you of late, but I see that you come shining through.
This last post appeared as if by magic as I eventually scrolled back up to the top.
I think you are a poet.

one of my favourite activities is splashing in mud puddles in my wellingtons and then wizzing around in a pretend dance.

its liberating and energising as is taking a new road or path that has yet to be discovered by another.

I love your poem, and I love what it means. I wish for you many dances in the snow and skipping on beaches and walking through forests, I wish for you a wonderful, wonderful second chance that will be deserving of the fantastic being you are, Kendalee.

Though you did not intend to be poetic you most certainly are! AND I love what you are wearing- that is gorgeous and very cosy looking. I also admire that you are wearing stylish boots- in the SNOW!
I just KNEW you had super powers!

Lynne - nice to see you back and thank you for the kind thoughts! :)
Claire - oh I love my wellies too - they're red with flowers on them and just looking down at them makes me happier! Exploring new roads is exciting and sometimes a little bit scary too... Better than standing still though!
Sebrina - Thank you! It will. I'm sure of it. I just need to be patient.
Sheila - Thank you. The feeling is mutual. I love how reflective and emotionally honest you are.
Anairam - Thank you for those wonderful wishes. I believe in wishes-come-true... so I have hope.
Linda Sue - You always make me smile!! I love those boots too - one of my brothers gave them to me for my Birthday a couple of years ago. So comfy, warm and good for snow it turns out - 'cause they've got great grip!
