I want to adopt one of these...

I am so NOT a cute doll/fluffy/felty toy kinda girl. I love felt but cute is not my thing. Never has been. Maybe because we always had pets and my younger siblings became the students in my imaginary school or dressed up and put on plays with me, I never really wanted teddies or dolls as a child. I don't know. Building forts and climbing trees, hiding in the airing cupboard with a torch to read my book, or playing with paper and paint and glue has always been more my style.

But I came across these little cuties in KitLane's Etsy shop recently and I started to reconsider...

There's something very appealing about a 2.5 inch Ursabob, Jacabunny or Nurblette, and an even tinier Burble. They apparently have the most endearing qualities and habits, and who could resist a story like this?

I think Half Pint and her little goat-chewed ears might want to come and live with me.

the last one is adorable. i must agree that i am also not a "goeters" person as the afrikaans like to say. i do however have a giant teddy with a special story behind him that still keeps me company.

I like cute when it is clever - like these! (The link didn't work for me - maybe it is just a temporary glitch at Etsy? - but I will look later!)

Lisa - I know, poor little guys - sometimes I had to bribe them to cooperate! I wonder if they're scarred by the experience?
Sebrina - They all have such character, don't they?
Harper - The noses definitely call for a tweaking!
Claire - Oh things with a story don't fall into the same category - they're not just cute.
Anairam - I think that's what I like too - so clever! I hope you try the links again. I think it must just have been an Etsy glitch 'cause they're working now...
Truepeach - I can't resist. I'm going to order one!
Heather - oh airing cupboards are great! Big, warm and full of all the lovely clean linen. My favourite thing was to make a nest with the spare eiderdowns that my mother would store in there. All soft and cosy. I'd disappear for hours...
Linda Sue - EXACTLY!! They just need someone to look after them don't they?
Laura - I keep expecting them to move and speak to each other in funny little languages...

Hahaha, I am drawn to the last one, grey and pink, looking up. They're oddly cute and I think that is their attraction. I'm not a huge cute person either but it brings a smile to my face.
