Alone, together, alone again

I want to be okay with this. Completely okay. All day, every day.

And especially today.

Getting there...

"Silence is the language God speaks, everything else is a bad translation" - Thomas Keating-
The silence (being alone) will not last- it is sort of like resting the clay before it is ready to center on the wheel to become a magnificent piece! Try to make the most of this gift of time alone... there is much to glean from solitude. I hope that doesn't sound too corny or like linda sue talking out of the other end...just that looking back- when I wore those shoes I didn't realize what a gift it was and how just around the corner was a lifetime commitment of "together"...nothing lasts, things change...being alone in "togetherness" has come as a bit of a surprise, also! It's just all so interesting. Know that you are not REALLY alone...could be a blessing.

This is such a beautiful mosaic, kendalee. I love the colours. It is contemplative, poignant, it reflects for me the deeper issue of coming into the world alone, having a moment of togetherness with others, with some of these relationships lasting longer than others, and then we depart, again alone. It is good to reflect on this. For me the meaning is to make the most of the relationships that are important to me, right now. Because all too soon they come to an end. I agree with Linda Sue on all she said ... and know that we are there for you on this amazing journey!

you are just so talented at culling the images that describe your emotional journey. the photos you have chosen tell the story. it is a story well lived, shared and survived.

Your words only enhance the most expressive part of you: image compiling. It speaks volumes.

Kenda just as love is a principle that needs to be taught and acquired and practiced, just so being alone is an art that few even attempt to master. You are brave and you inspire me as you deliberately practice this critical state of being. May you hear the lessons it hopes to teach.
