Brief journeys - Blur...

This week has passed in one. A blur that is. At very short notice, to cover the absence of a colleague, I've travelled to three cities, in three countries - England, Scotland & Wales - in three days.

On my way to and from the rail station and the airport, I walk through a building that has curtains of light up to celebrate the season...

Pretty, isn't it?

I've noticed that when one passes these at high speed - as I usually do, dragging my little wheelie bag behind me and clucking like the White Rabbit about the lateness of the hour - something amazing happens. It looks more like this:

Or this:

Isn't that something? Not many things are made even more beautiful for being rushed by.  But I think these are.

Beautiful blur.

Happy Friday!

Very beautiful blur, indeed! The first one looks like snowflakes. I've never seen snowflakes, maybe that is why!
