A fortnight in February...

Ordering supplies - who knew big, juicy marker pens came in such delicious colours?!

Champagne brunch - a friendly celebration for two.

Meandering - genuinely random and aimless wandering, just for pleasure.

Textured beauty and blue skies - Italian style.

Playing with paint - layers and layers of colour and messy fun!

Real, fresh, local food that morphs into...

...lunch for one - an island of blissful solitude in a busy week.

Retail therapy - shopping for others is the best kind of shopping.

Heart-ache - lonely in a crowd is the worst kind of lonely. The worst. No tears allowed.

Kindness from near strangers - a brief conversation in an airport lounge and a surprise in the post.

Amaretti nougat - freshly made, every mouthful heavenly!

Looks like a good fortnight all in all - except for the lonely part - with some Italian travel thrown in, a riot of beautiful colours, and chanmpagne!

what do I like best? Meandering, what a good word with a good definition, love your birdy dish, that drawing with all the flowers, did you do that? And who gets to name those colours? Someone lucky with a good imagination.

The island of solitude, taking time to appreciate the many colours of life, is a great place to be! So refreshing! Delightful photos!
