How idyllic it is! Your photos are beautiful, and I do love that row of four Gemsbok… all gazing at you so intently :)
(Thank you for stopping by my ‘oak leaves & owls’, and your kind words on my drawings! Glad you enjoyed the V&A Golden Orb spider link. I believe Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens in CT has a great ‘colony’ of Golden Orbs for part of the year and I had hoped to see them (and their magnificent webs!) last time I was there, but sadly they had moved on)
The main things which seem to me important on their own account, and not merely as means to other things, are knowledge, art, instinctive happiness, and relations of friendship or affection.
Bertrand Russell
The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware, joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware.
