Nothing new

trite (trt)
adj. trit·er, trit·est
1. Lacking power to evoke interest through overuse or repetition; hackneyed.
2. Worn out by use.

I know there a gajillion pictures of leaves out there. I've taken at least a hundred of them myself and I've been wondering if I should even bother this year. I love looking at them but how many leaf photographs count as too many?

We wouldn't accuse nature of making too many pretty leaves though, of repeating herself, would we?

And when she goes to the trouble of scattering them so beautifully at my feet, it seems rude not to pause and then photograph them, again.

Trite?

Maybe a little. But I just can't seem to stop.

Not trite at all... new & beautiful every time :) I love the shot of your feet and leaves (the trees here in Amsterdam haven't quite taken on such brilliant shades yet).
Hope you're having a good week!

Can't have too many leaves. Not trite at all. Especially when it is you taking the photos.

It's an end of the season party and the confetti flies on gusts of wind blown through a whistle. It is autumn after all. -can never have too much colour!Especially knowing that grey days a'comin!

That would be like saying an artist had too much paint! Colored leaves are a tool Nature uses to brighten the landscape one more time before we sliiiide into cold November and long nights.

Your photos are wonderful! What a palette of colors scattered on a canvas of neutral grays. NOT trite.

Wishing I could have been there to watch you get that low angle on the first tight focus shot.

No, not trite. Not at all. I will never tire of the colors and leaves of fall. I love these photos.

Not trite at all. These are all great photos. I love looking at them. I am experiencing Fall through your photos because we don't have Fall in my side of the world, so thank you :)
