Well, I think I'm almost there with the packing. The mountain of boxes has grown and the removal van is booked. Only a few last minute things that are still in use to add to the pile. I'm away for work most of this week and when I return, it will be to see these things of mine transferred into their new home. And me along with them.
So I find myself in that space inbetween - neither here, nor there. It's a strange space to be in. Uneasy, unsettled, a little uncomfortable but full of promise...
Thank you for travelling this far with me. I haven't been in this online room much of late (not much to pack as I'm taking the whole room with me) but I feel you here - providing moral support, making virtual tea and toast, and offering good wishes for what's to come. And it makes a difference. Thank you!

Very exciting! Wish I could send over some delicious soup and home made crusty bread for your landing on the other side. I picture Alice gently tumbling down the rabbit hole and landing on a big soft cushion.
Ah, the in between. Nothing so exciting and and yet a bit of trepidation as well. I know that the future is bright for you, and the new place (both home and in your life) will work out beautifully!

we just moved an dour with a four month in between time between houses. unpacking was like getting gifts. a whole houseful of gifts.
exciting! hope you get settled in soon enough and open up the box with the online room soon.
