Only a few days...

Well, I'm safely moved in and slowly starting to settle - the box mountain is reducing by degrees, there are fresh flowers, and the first guests have shared pizza out of a box with me, so I'm well on my way to it feeling like home. Still no internet connection for a few days though (I'm sneaking this in from work) but as soon as it's in, I'll give you a glimpse and pop 'round to your lovely blogs to say a proper "hi!" and catch up with what you've been up to. I've missed you! In the meantime, thank you for all the warm wishes and have a very happy Monday ♥

Peace - that was the other name for home.

Friends with pizza already - that is a good start for your new abode! Happy new home, dear friend! PS I'll be sneaking off to (one of your) your old abode(s) tomorrow - Hermanus. With L'Usband & Snous - just an overnight trip, for a tiny break before the next batch of the book arrives on Wed. Then - back to editing again. xxxxx

Glad the move went well.

And now that you've had friends over for pizza, you officially have a "home".

Yay -- progress! I wish all of us blog friends could be there to help organize cupboards, pantries, linen closets and all the drawers. What was the old saying? Many hands make light work?

I'm so glad you are feeling settled...it's a nice feeling. Our house feels a little unsettled at the moment...we are painting and it's a mess. Kind of entertaining with the little ones to chase after. Hope you have a lovely weekend. ♥

DANG - where ARE you? What if you have been smothered and no body can reach you because of the boxes, what if you have been kidnapped, what if you have run out of toast and have starved...Where are YOU? Let me know- with your psychic energy and skills...I will be ...receptive...and holding my breath.
