I dreamt of sweet peas and a wall...

...both red.

I could smell the sweetpeas (lovely!) and there was a rich warm glow off the wall. I remember thinking I'd like to paint a wall in my home red (I'd like one in deep peacock blue too) and that was it. I don't remember anything else.

I wonder what it means.

Perhaps the sublimation of my anger into something less hostile but still red? Maybe something far more prosaic, given that I'll be moving home quite soon? I don't know. It had a good vibe though so I'll hold on to that and hope it wasn't one of those reverse meaning dreams. Like an upside down Tarot card.

[thank you Flickr Peeps for the perfect images to capture it]

you have the most interesting dreams! so great that you retain them, even if parts are missing in your memory.

I think if a dream feels good or feels right then it can only mean good things!

I think it can only be good. I love that you smelt the sweetpeas, ohhh... longing for summer days.
The dogs disturbed Mike's lovely dream when they came tumbling into the bedroom this morning. It's always the boys that come in to wake us up. Paddy usually has an ulterior motive, he wants his breakfast! Jewel just stays lounging wherever she has slept the night. There's a choice of 4 dog beds, an armchair, our bed! Usually one of the brothers shares our bed.
Hope the sun shines for you this week, in more ways than one.

Perhaps it's a sign that you are accepting the anger, dealing with it and turning it into something positive. I would love a red room or wall! Dreams that leave warm, positive flashes of images can soothe the soul for days, even if you don't understand their meaning. Rejoice in their being.

From across the miles, I bow to your tender heart.

You are being marinated in sweet peas; your soul is being pressed to let go even further, to allow the beautiful changes the Universe has in mind for you.

You are so beautiful! :)

HAHA I read "more prosaic" as "more Prozac"...
another haha- the verification word is "disingsh", having had too much IRISH in my coffee I was trying to say "distinguished"- re: your writing...but the verification code and the Irish would not allow it.

Yep, I agree - you have some lovely and amazing dreams! Mine are mostly filled with the detritrus of too many movies combined with anxious thoughts. Nightmarish, actually. Plus I'm always looking for a bloody place to pee, and cannot find anything suitable, and then, thank god, I wake up. Obviously because I have to pee. But I do sp love your sweet peas and red walls - oh, please do a red wall in your new apartment - I'l come and visit just to see it!

Oh my! I love all of this red.

If the dream has a good vibe then I'd go with that.
