Five minute lovely list

~ Soft purple roses that smell as pretty as they look - flowers really do brighten up even the dullest Winter's day, don't they?

~ Sharing Bajan mojitos - new to me - tapas, some tears and lots of laughs with a friend - perfect healing end to a hard week.

~ Nutella on toasted bagels with English breakfast tea, made strong and milky - a delicious morning-after breakfast.

~ A good post day - real and virtual mailbox bursting with a week's worth of thoughtful treasures and kind thoughts from near and far.

~ Work's on the agenda this weekend but I've promised myself I'll call a halt after dark - reading, writing, catching up time then to look forward to - trying hard to maintain that illusive balance...

What's on your lovely list this weekend?

Flowers sooth the soul. And remember to keep that promise to take some time to call a halt and catch up. Here we have sun for the first time in days. Don't know how to handle it. Have a good one.

I'm afraid I've veered toward the mundane this weekend and away from the lovely except that I've soaked in beautiful sunsets and intense blue skies and took a few photos and did some "pre-posts" for the next few days.

I'll take some of that Nutella...with a spoon please, don't need the bagel! The tea sounds good too, never had tea for breakfast (gasp!)
The weekends half over, not sure what's up for tomorrow...probably do some bookkeeping (yuck) some schoolwork, some knitting & some scrapbooking.
Have alovely sunday!

What gorgeous roses. On my lovely list this weekend was sushi with my hubby, 2 daughters and son-law on Saturday night at Ushaka! Also some dreaming and planning about what we could do to improve our home!

Mmmm - I can smell those purple flowers!

I have a pale purple rose in my garden that looks rather faded out beside the other roses, but oh what a heavenly scent!

I missed this over the weekend, but my lovelies today are
-the red blossoms on my maple tree that echo the red of our barn behind.
-gorgeous warm sunshine, a winter gift
-devouring a photography book and sipping my morning coffee at the kitchen table
-procrastinating just a bit longer before packing up for a big show in Houston next week

Hope you find some lovelies this week!
