Sun & sequin sparkle

Yesterday afternoon I walked past my bedroom and the sun was playing with the sequins on a cushion and painting colourful sparkles on the wall. It only lasted about 5 minutes but what a pretty show.

I love that even the serious sun, centre of our solar system, source of light and life, has a whimsical side.

I could learn a lesson or two from that old sun: lighten up, add sparkle...

I love the way these sorts of things are so transitory. Sometimes I run for my camera and I have missed it-when I could have just stayed there and enjoyed it!
Have a lovely Sunday.

Amazing how once you are into the camera zone you appreciate so many little moments that you may have missed before.
