Soulfood - a creative day out

An auspiciously named location ~ Creative chaos. Surely the best kind.
A great space, and time for tea & cake ~ The end of a day's play.

The creative is the place where no one else has ever been. You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you'll discover will be wonderful. What you'll discover is yourself.
Alan Alda

Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.
Scott Adams

Not an artist yet. But creative, oh yeah! Mistakes I can apparently make. Aplenty. And it was fun!

More details tomorrow...

That looks like "lose-yourself" fun! The beauty of it all is you can cover up your mistakes. The photo montage is inviting me to play too. Enjoy!!!

Not an artist yet? You crazy woman - you have artist written all over you... your writing, your photography, your sense of color, composition, style!!! Do you not know how much you inspire me and all of us who peek into your world?

Glad the day was soul-full and carried you away - you artist you!

Weather is changing- feel it?

Creativity is not something you do it is who you are. That other stuff - "playing" - scooting colour around, sticking things to things, pushing wool into another form...organizing blocks into pattern...I am not sure what ART is.
Perhaps ART is skill, I don't know. I do know that you are highly creative, observant, sensitive, clever, - you live creativity and art whether you recognize it as such or not. Having a great life is the best sort of creativity, don't you think? the rest is just decoration...

It looked like you had fun, and created beautiful things! I agree with Linda Sue about having a great life being the best kind of creativity. Anyway, the words "art" and "artist" have become almost meaningless to me. I prefer to call myself a "creator of things".
