You are cordially and joyfully invited

to a
h Midsummer Picnic h

Here I am, lounging on the bed in my guest room. It enjoys the morning sun and is one of my favourite spots to sit at the weekend, blogging, reading or writing. And today, I'm here planning a Midsummer celebration. The sun is due to shine, I have the day off work, and I plan to head to the park with a friend for a picnic. I would love it if you'd join us....

BEAUTIFUL feet BEAUTIFUL toes! Wednesday sounds like a good day to have a picnic...Bristol road may be a bit too far from here but could do Lakeway...If it is raining will have a picnic indoors...with the bird, the cat and the pup.I must come up with something that will please everyone...Poppyseed cakes, maybe?

I cook a dish last night and took photos along the way. So I'll bring a flower from my mom's garden and potatoes from my dad's garden.

Yay! I will join you even though its winter here (and will be raining according to the forecast) - what better way to surround myself with sunshine and summery things than to do a Midsummer's picnic with you?!

Sounds wonderful! What a lovely idea! The weather here in Durban has been so mild, it might even feel like summer here too!

A midsummer's picnic...it sounds delightful. Wednesday? I shall be out of town, so think I shall maybe start the picnic early, then pick up the end, as well. Thank you for the invite!
