My three year old son just walked over, saw this photo and said, "Is that the planet?" I thought that's kinda what you're saying here. We are connected. I'll be looking up.
We may share the same sky -same moon, but ours is so often obfiscated by heavy wet grey flannel cloud that I feel underground most of the time- forgotten by those with sight- a chubby little blind mole tunneling while you, out there, can see where you are going- can see the possibilities- can feel the connection- Blog world is how I know you are out there.
Breathtaking. Blow some of those colors my way please. We're all connected with one another, if not by the sky than by the earth, the moon and the sun. Love the thought even if we are far apart, we still are close.
I love this too. sometimes I'm on the phone with my daughter and we both look at the moon at the same time. it's almost like we are sitting in the backyard staring at it together.
Such a lovely thought, Kendalee! Tonight I'm going to lie on the grass looking up at the stars and feel closer to those who are far away. I'll send you a thought so look out for it :-) Happy Easter!
This my favorite colors of the sky. The redness, especially in winter gives me that feeling that I belong to somewhere else: the sky, the clouds, the wind, the horizon, the openess...
The main things which seem to me important on their own account, and not merely as means to other things, are knowledge, art, instinctive happiness, and relations of friendship or affection.
Bertrand Russell
The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware, joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware.
