The connection- I never had it- at least you know what you miss, and that can be directional. Although looking for connection in England can be challenging- might have to put Peg in the closet for a while...
I'm married to a wonderful man and have lovely children, but I miss the guy who made my toes tingle and swirled me around the dance floor - sometimes in one place...
Listen to the number 'Sway' from Michael Buble and you start dancing just by yourself. Simply can't hold stil, enjoy your sway. Do look it up, really, I can almost see you go round and round.
when I saw these images, I immediately thought of that connection. like beverly, I went back in time to that dance. you know, that dance. it is indeed something to be cherished and missed. and hoped for...
Hello from France! I miss it too- however about once a year we go to a french village 'hop' and everybody grabs a partner and starts twirling and swirling from 5 to 90 years, the french just love close-up dancing . It is such fun to do and watch, then everybody ends up smooching at the end of the evening;AAAH!
Hmmm, The Connection - it can be different things at different times. Sometimes I feel entirely connected to the universe - just for a moment. It disappears quite soon though, but it is magical when it happens. Connection with L'Usband is constant and sure and eternal. Connection with a tango partner happens very seldom for me, can't remember the last time it did. (Of course I immediately interpreted your mosaic as Tango Tango Tango!!!!!)
The main things which seem to me important on their own account, and not merely as means to other things, are knowledge, art, instinctive happiness, and relations of friendship or affection.
Bertrand Russell
The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware, joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware.

Great photos - I miss dancing!
my husband LOVES to dance and i've always felt badly that i'm not more into it. i love the idea of it, but i have no grace!
Oh, I feel this...and feel for you. 'Swept Away' is the perfect description for what you've crafted here.
Getting old too quick and do miss all the fun. Maybe I should walk on the wild side a bit and get out those old dancing shoes....
me too.
:(
the connection, you've got it! with art! Great work... For the rest, it will come. Till then: HUGS!!!!!
wonderful collage! I love dancing, but never took ballroom dancing. The hubby wouldn't go with me now, I might just sign myself up!
