Delicate blossom of optimism

An optimist is the human personification of spring.
Susan J. Bissonette

Let us be grateful to people who make us happy;
they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom
Marcel Proust

Merrily, merrily shall I live now,
Under the blossom that hangs on the bough.
William Shakespeare

I am. I am. And I shall.

Today I'd like to protect and delight in this ethereal thing.

Yes! On my doggy walk yesterday we found pussy willows and buds everywhere! The snow drops are up and the primroses are blooming- it is still frosty cold and the sun is still dead BUT there is, dare I say, optimism! Thanks for the lovely delicate photo.
The winter blahs still clinging, however...now I am thinking that the cheese grater looks like possible suicide ...couldn't find the lemon squeezer.

Wonderful post, thanks. That flower is so delicate. And the quotes by Proust and my DEAR Shakespeare are great.
