A moment of contemplation - in need of balmy sleep!

Sleep... steal me awhile from mine own company.

William Shakespeare - A Midsummer Night's Dream

Tired nature’s sweet restorer, balmy sleep!

I love these quotations ... I'm going to think of them as I drift off. Thanks!

Great quotes! I am sorry you have occasional insomnia- that must be awful- I have the opposite problem- I can sleep standing up- often and anywhere...my dream life is way cooler than my waking life. Sleep well, dear. I am humming softly, a lullaby for you.

I also suffer from insomnia from time to time so I know how you feel. Wonderful quotes by the way!

Thanks for the lovely comments on my blog! I'm glad you visited because yours is just very lovely. You have such an interesting background which I can somewhat relate because I have lived in several places throughout my life and you're right, when it's down to the nitty gritty, we have more in common than we know. (That's a long sentence!)
I've never heard of the unbuntu concept. I think that it is so easy to fall into the negative and bad news travel so so fast these days that we get buried and it's hard to find the ubuntu around us.

I think insomnia often has its roots in some kind of worry or anxiety, don't you think? At least that is the case for me. So I hope the cause of the anxiety can be resolved so you can get back to sleep! I'm doing an 'early' night tonight - that is, I am going to bed at midnight, right after this message. Last night was 3.30 am and Fri was 2.30 am - ouch! But that was work - the proofreading has turned into a nightmare ...

P.S. Thanks for all the info about Sri Lanka.

stephanie - happy to know that someone's getting some sleep! ;)
linda sue - I hear you singing... thank you!!
ida - aren't quotes great? They so often say the thing I'd love to say if only I had the verbal skill.
munted kowhai - wonderful how this blogging world allows us all to connect, isn't it? That's one of the things I love most about it!
anairam - you're right of course. Sometimes it just takes a while for the source of the anxiety to surface for me. But it'll work out - it usually does. :)
Fifi - thank you, wishing you the same... Glad you found the info useful.
