Integrity

Check out what it looks like here.

This girl is one of my blogging heroines. And author of one of the most enjoyable books I read last year. And she has magenta hair.  And it looks good on her.

Be warned, the content of this post is political. And that's kinda the point.

She writes very well - I so agree with her that on some things one simply can NOT agree to disagree! I have just finished reading a very interesting article in the Scientific American about research that claims that one's political affiliation can be indicated by the condition of one's workspace. If you have a messy workspace you are likely to have liberal views and if you are neat you are probably conservative. Yay!! I am a leftie!! (But I am going to pack my sewing machine away...) linda sue - I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Laini's blog is ALWAYS a good visit! She is so lovely - creative and quirky and intelligent and did I mention lovely?! She also writes so well... Well worth losing a few hours to I think! :o)
anairam - thanks for the link - interesting stuff! I'm not sure you need to pack your sewing machine away though... I think they're thinking of it as a more utilitarian item than as a creative tool! I'm a little concerned though because I do not consider myself conservative at all yet my desk is usually VERY tidy. At least, I tidy it at the beginning and end of every session I spend in front of it! Can't work on a different project until I've cleared away the last one I was working on... Even if this means a lot of swapping and changing ('cause I'm normally working on more than one thing at the same time) Uh oh! :o/ I thought I was just organised, not verkramp!
