It was raining. Again. So we went inside...

... and had tea and champagne.

Edit: Two people have asked me about the cute bag... It was made by an amazingly talented group of people (mostly women) in South Africa, and is just one of their stunning creations, sold under the name Mielie (Corn in Afrikaans). Check out more about them here and here. I bought this particular one on a recent trip as a gift for a friend, and gave the one I'd bought for myself to another friend when she clearly fell in love with it. Love, after all, should not be denied! They are quite irresistible - beautiful, tactile and very wearable - and next time I'm over I'm going to pick up at least one more for myself and a few spares (just in case!)
Edit 2: If you can't wait, or aren't planning a trip to South Africa to shop for handbags, they can be had in the UK from adila.co.uk
Can you resist? Can I?

Champagne - yum ... Looks a bit like a Kir Royale without the cherries. And the bag complements it beautifully!
I agree, the champagne sounds lovely, I think I could do with some right now:)
anairam and bronwyn, I can tell you are girls after my own heart - champagne (on its own or with a little bit of pink) good for any occasion!! Bubbles lift the mood... :o)
