Tea and Champagne

It was raining. Again. So we went inside...


... and had tea and champagne.

The tea was Earl Grey. The champagne had a dash of raspberry liqueur added. The chat was warm and rambling. It's a great combo. I'd recommend it.

Edit: Two people have asked me about the cute bag... It was made by an amazingly talented group of people (mostly women) in South Africa, and is just one of their stunning creations, sold under the name Mielie (Corn in Afrikaans). I bought this particular one on a recent trip as a gift for a friend, and gave the one I'd bought for myself to another friend when she clearly fell in love with it. Love, after all, should not be denied! They are quite irresistible - beautiful, tactile and very wearable - and next time I'm over I'm going to pick up at least one more for myself and a few spares (just in case!)
