A good news week!

My darling sister is getting married!

After years and years and yeaaaaars of being together, he finally popped the question last week while they were on holiday on a tropical island.... How divine. I am so happy and so excited for them that I could wriggle right out of my skin.

And I've been honoured with a request to be chief-bridesmaid-and-creative-design-consultant. Or something like that. It sounds like fun and it's beyond description how much I'm thrilled at the prospect of both these roles!

My sister and I are completely in sync when it comes to knowing each other's taste and already my head is overflowing with ideas to offer her. She's incredibly creative too so I think we are going to have such fun working on this together. Apart from the support and organisational aspects (which I relish) this gives me even more excuse to trawl the internet for lovely stuff and more reason to make lovely stuff.... What a joy!

Can't wait to get started.

And as if this is not good news enough.... I found out today that a very dear friend has just became a grandmother for the first time, to a beautiful little girl!
