I would so much like to visit Wales one day, it's always been one of my dreams, possibly because I have a Welsh name I've always felt an affinity for the country.
oh bronwyn, i can relate to that and i do hope you have the opportunity to see Wales one day - it is gorgeous!! anairam, you're right, i hadn't noticed that specifically but i guess the influence of nature pervades so much of what i'm attracted to. also love anything richly textured and lichen is so lovely that way, isn't it? :o)
The main things which seem to me important on their own account, and not merely as means to other things, are knowledge, art, instinctive happiness, and relations of friendship or affection.
Bertrand Russell
The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware, joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware.
