Creative living is a lot like looking at the world through a kaleidoscope. You look at a set of elements, the same ones everyone else sees, but then reassemble those floating bits and pieces into an enticing new possibility.

Still at the "floating bits and pieces" stage for this turn of the 'scope... How will it settle? I have no idea yet but the good news seems to be that if it's approached creatively, no matter what, it'll be interesting.
And then, no doubt, the 'scope will turn and it'll change again.
I've often thought of my life as a bit of a roller-coaster ride but I think this kaleidoscope analogy works so beautifully.
Kaleidoscope life. Yes. I like it. Even when the bits are tumbling...

Yes-it is calmer than a roller coaster and although it is chance how it falls, at least you decide when to turn it! Are you back? Is the internet on? I have missed your blog popping to the top of my list.
I really like the kaleidoscope analogy. Tumbling, rolling, random and abstract and always surprising if you pay attention. Not good when you're at the bottom of the heap but things usually come around again.
Thanks for the positive view of this mess called life. LOVE, LOVE the photos. Yours? If so, HOW?
i like it too. mine definitely feels kaleidoscopish. but it's soo very colorful that you can't help but be fascinated.
so glad to see you back in the land of blog!!
I had forgotten how beautiful a kaleidoscope is! This post reminds me of a favourite song: The Beauty of Grey, by Live. It speaks of life not being black and white and that there is beauty to be found in grey. There's even more beauty to be found in colours.
This is beautiful. I like that - a kaleidoscope as representative of life - especially yours as you always come across as this bright, colorful, artistic person.
l love your view kaleidoscopes hold such meaning ..i have missed you friend
I've missed you!
A kalaidoscope life is surely less stressful than a roller coaster ride and I love that when the kalaidescope is turned new facets are revealed .... much like life. The things is to keep moving. I tend to settle in my comfort zone.
WELL there you are my most beautiful beauty! Cool photos! Did you do these? I am going to be gone for a bit- the roller coaster is going up here...up the track slowly...I will let you know when I come back down in a rush! LOVE
Beautiful pictures. I like the kaleidoscope analogy too xx
Kaleidoscopes used to frustrate me when I was little, I would get the perfect arrangement where everything looked just right and then I couldn't get it back again. Nowadays of course, I realise that was a lesson!
Oh so good to see you are okay and just letting the bits fall into place - missed you!
Beautiful photos! And analogy. I hope the colours and patterns settle just where you'd like them to at the next turn of the 'scope. Have a great weekend! sx
I like this! It is such a great way to look at life and how different people see different pictures of essentially the same elements. Is it in the way you turn the kaleidoscope? Perspective is all. (Well, maybe not all, but it certainly is important...)
PS How did you take this picture, I would love to know!
A lovely perspective on the challenges of life!
oh hi there! yes, your tumbling bits are brilliant...
Oh some days I don't want things to change for one bit. Yet on others I can't wait for them to fly by.
Great post and shot Kenda.
