The halls are (nearly) decked...

In lieu of a wreath

Thank you to all you lovely people who shared your pre-Christmas thoughts and offered support for my overwhelmed feelings and my colourful butterflies... I didn't get very far beyond the tree dressing and putting up this glittery beauty on my front door (thus decking the halls of my apartment block too) but I did order a few gifts online and I had a brief visit from a very dear friend, which was just what I needed.

Amongst other things, she gently reminded me that I have always sought quality over quantity. And she's right. So the fact that there are now only 10 days to enjoy the build up to Christmas and prepare for it just means I need to focus my attentions... and savour them.

Okey dokey then. I'll give it a go.
