And I have felt
A presence that disturbs me with the joy
Of elevated thoughts; a sense sublime
Of something far more deeply interfused,
Whose dwelling is the light of setting suns,
And the round ocean and the living air,
And the blue sky, and in the mind of man:
A motion and a spirit, that impels
All thinking things, all objects of all thought,
And rolls through all things.
From 'Lines composed a few miles above Tintern Abbey'
William Wordsworth
1770-1850
Feeling a need to reconnect... Not sure how or where yet, so in the meantime, these pictures and a little lilting Wordsworth soothe my spirit.
There are some people in the blogosphere who have raised making photo mosaics to a fine art.
I'm in awe of, inspired by, and aspire to this and this and especially these. Beautiful.

I love your blog. It's my first visit.
I like mosaics too. I don't visit Flickr often enough, but I'll call in again and visit some of the sites you've credited.
Love the spirals. Don't realise just how many forms they take.
I'll call in again.

this is gorgeous, the images and the words!
aren't mosaics fun?!
(and thanks for the shout-out)
linda sue - thank you! I'm in awe of your exquisite feltwork - now that's REALLY creative and skillful! I just browse Flickr and then use Mosaic Maker to pull it together... It's super fun.
lynne - how lovely to have you visit and I look forward to seeing you again... Be warned, Flickr can suck you in for hours if you let it... It's time well spent though :)
lisa - mosaics are SUCH fun! I've always made them but it used to be exclusively with magazines, scissors and glue - I love doing it this way. Yours are the ultimate though!
beautiful, beautiful words, thanks for sharing them....just what I needed to read...incredibly soulful and soothing somehow.
I know what you mean about flickr...you can disappear in there for days at a time if you're not careful;
bronwyn - I'm so glad you enjoyed them too. Some days I think you just can't beat a little Wordsworth - an oldie but goodie for lyrical poetry.
